Battery Cover
All SMART-FORCE battery-powered rescue tools have two battery covers (IP-54 and IP-68 cover) included in the delivery.
IP 54 Battery cover for 6.0 Ah & 8.0 Ah & 12.0 Ah
To protect the battery from mechanical damage.When using the IP 54 battery cover, the tool achieves protection class IP54 (protection against moisture and splash water). Furthermore, a quick battery change is possible in regular operation scenarios.

IP 68 Battery cover for 6.0 Ah & 8.0 Ah & 12.0 Ah
Conversion to underwater use with a few simple steps (suitable for fresh, salt or dirty water).
When using the IP 68 battery cover, the tool achieves protection class IP68. This means that the tool is approved for underwater use up to a depth of 3 m for a duration of 60 minutes (details on underwater use, maintenance, service and care can be found in the operating instructions).
