Technical rescue knows no boundaries – and neither does training
International cooperation
The first international instructor meeting in Losenstein brought together over 80 instructors from 14 countries. In addition to networking, the focus was primarily on professional exchange: joint learning, further developing knowledge and rethinking existing standards in technical rescue.
State-of-the-art rescue training
Seven practical training stations formed the core of the meeting. The focus was on topics such as:
- Rescue in e-mobility
- Techniques for truck rescue
- Handling state-of-the-art rescue equipment
- Optimisation of operational procedures and tactics Participants tested the latest tools, discussed challenges they face in their daily work and jointly developed innovative solutions. The direct exchange between peers not only promoted knowledge transfer, but also fostered a common understanding across national borders.
Why international exchange is crucial
Technical rescue is becoming increasingly complex – due to new vehicle technologies, alternative drive systems and a wide range of application scenarios. This makes it all the more important for emergency services around the world to learn from each other. Only through cross-border cooperation, regardless of language or system, can we improve rescue training in the long term.
