Matthias Pulfer, Sales Manager WEBER RESCUE SYSTEMS, at the handover of the CRASH SYSTEM to the fire brigade in Essen.
The fire brigade in Essen is revolutionizing technical rescue training with the WEBER CRASH SYSTEM. The innovative system enables realistic training scenarios by deforming vehicles in a safe, targeted and effective manner. Four cylinders with variable compression levels can be used to simulate different degrees of destruction. The vehicle is securely fixed in the guide cage.
The CRASH SYSTEM also allows the deformation of larger vehicles such as vans, SUVs and truck cabins and is easy to set up and transport. The system can be set up in just 15 minutes with the help of just two people. This innovation provides an effective solution to the challenges faced by fire and rescue services and ensures that operational teams are best prepared for rescue operations.
"We have 16 volunteer fire brigades and almost 1,000 firefighters at the professional fire brigade - we want to train them all and make sure they can work with the system properly," says Christian Schmücker, spokesman for the Essen fire brigade.
