ANOTHER STEP TOWARDS SUSTAINABILITY

In addition to compliance with environmental guidelines, the efficient use of energy also plays a central role in the sustainable orientation of companies. The WEBER HYDRAULIK production site in Losenstein has now successfully passed both certifications. To be precise, these are the so-called ISO 14001 and ISO 5001 certifications.

"The share of electricity demand that can be covered by solar energy has been continuously increased in recent years. [...] All our heating needs are covered by wood chip heating."

Albert Koppenberger, responsible for operational maintenance at the Losenstein site.

This means that the Losenstein site is independent of oil and gas and is operated in an environmentally friendly manner using wood chips.

E-MOBILITY REDUCES CO2 POLLUTION

An attractive leasing model for e-cars was created for employees at the Losenstein site in 2019 and many have already taken advantage of it. The electricity required for the e-cars also comes from the company's own photovoltaic system. The use of e-mobility has great potential for reducing the site's CO2 emissions.
