HAIX THL Training - women only

From 01 to 02 October 2021, the first great THL training was held themed "women only" in cooperation with HAIX Germany. On the premises of the Training Center Retten und Helfen in Mosbach, the power women from the fire department, THW and rescue service had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences and to deepen their know-how in equipment knowledge and rescue techniques. On the basis of three accident scenarios, they trained diligently on Saturday in bright sunshine and under the guidance of our instructor team.

Friday, 1. October 2021

Theoretical basic knowledge was refreshed on Friday. In addition to exciting and instructive insights into the entire process of an operation, topics such as e-mobility, patient protection and the relevance of good communication in the team were also discussed.

Women power in practice! Training on equipment and rescue techniques at three stations:

• Station 1: Side impact car on a tree considering the topic "patient in focus ".

At the station, the cooperation between rescue service and fire department was also considered. Among other things, the professional use of hose-bound equipment such as spreaders or scissors was trained for rescue.

• Station 2: Car in lateral position

Besides the stabilization of the vehicle and the first aid by the inner rescuer, the E-FORCE devices as well as a safe glass management were in the focus here.

• Station 3: Car in roof position

The focus was on an efficient and resource-saving rescue in order to free the patient in the shortest possible time.

All in all, a very successful event that already makes you look forward to further trainings!
