All available equipment on rescue vehicles was used. The training took place over three days and included a total of four stations where techniques for rescue were trained. The stations included car on barrier, frontal impact, side impact and car under trailer. For the participants, there were also various seminars for senior officers on how to extinguish forest fires.
Another part of the training started on the third day, when 40 former firefighters (students) from four fire institutes of the rescue service and 65 volunteer firefighters, who have the appropriate tools in their local fire workshops, were deployed. They practised daylight operations and used all the available equipment from their fire and/or rescue vehicles.
We wish all participants much success and hope that they will have as few missions as possible in the future.
