rescueDAYS UK 2025 – That’s a Wrap!
Two days of intensive rescue training in Huntington, York
On 21 and 22 May 2025, Huntington Fire Station became a hotspot for modern technical rescue training. Over 100 emergency personnel and guests took part in rescueDAYS UK, organised by WEBER RESCUE UK in collaboration with North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service.
Four realistic scenarios, two days full of action
Participants worked in small teams on realistic, challenging operational scenarios. The focus was on modern techniques, teamwork and working safely under the conditions of real life. The programme included:
- Side impact rescue – efficient access techniques for side collisions
- Vehicles on barriers – securing unstable positions correctly and rescuing patients safely
- Accidents in agriculture – complex scenarios involving heavy tools and confined spaces
- Workshops on vehicle technology – electric vehicles, high-voltage systems, airbag deployment and the use of rescue data apps
Deepen your knowledge, gain experience, increase safety
The feedback was clear: rescueDAYS UK 2025 offered a valuable mix of new knowledge, intensive practical training and realistic challenges. Participants particularly praised the practical training, the exchange with colleagues and the quality of the training teams.
