I have been a professional firefighter and paramedic for 8 years. I am used multifunctionally in technical assistance, fire fighting and rescue services.
What characterises you?
As a small woman with a height of 1.60 m, I am regularly confronted with prejudices. But: My mouth and my heart are in the right place, so I definitely don't let them take the butter off my bread. Working with heavy rescue equipment? No problem! I'm not only interested in how to quickly put out a fire or cut up a car. For me, the whole background - especially the people themselves - is incredibly important. That's why fire-fighting tasks and solutions, as well as medical content, are the main focus for me. Not to forget my work as a youth fire brigade warden. A fire brigade without (my) youth? Absolutely unthinkable! I'm grateful for every spark of knowledge and definitely not too shy for any work. You can have beautiful eyelashes, still tackle the job, stand your ground and get dirty! ;)
What characterises you?
I have been a volunteer firefighter for 15 years and I have loved taking photos and making videos for at least as long. With my job as a blue light reporter, I was able to combine these two hobbies and fulfil a big dream. For Blaulicht-Magazin.net, I travel all over Europe to report on operations, present vehicles and address interesting topics from the blue light scene. I'm looking forward to rescueDAYS because I'm sure I'll learn a lot here, which I can put to good use both in the fire service and professionally.
What characterises you?
I am a very open, spontaneous person, I have a sense of humour and I am always happy to meet new people. I would love to see something new every day, go around the world, find adventures whether it's mountains or the sea, I'm a nature person. But I also love action, that's why I am professionally in the rescue service and voluntarily in the fire brigade. I am neutral and always have an open ear for those who need me.
