The international rescueDAYS are the world's largest training event for technical rescue support and have been taking place once a year at different venues in Germany for more than 15 years. WEBER RESCUE SYSTEMS also holds rescueDAYS throughout the world, including in Japan, Brazil, Ukraine, Poland, Austria, Slovenia and Portugal.

New vehicle technologies and the numerous types of vehicles on the streets always present the fire services and rescue organisations with new challenges. In order to be prepared in these situations, it is necessary to train for different accident scenarios and to gain knowledge about the technology used. The training covers the areas of car, truck and bus rescue. During rescueDAYS, participants can learn new rescue techniques and exchange experiences with participants from all over the world, because technical accident rescue does not work the same way everywhere.

Digital rescueDAYS

For the first time ever we will offer our rescueDAYS in the form of online courses in our WEBER RESCUE Academy! The world's largest training event for technical rescue accessible to all of you from home. Even if Corona unfortunately prevents us from training you live, first-class training in crash rescue should not be missing in the fire service’s calendar!

Bookable here now:

The bundle of the Digital rescueDAYS contains seven courses based on the training stations of the rescueDAYS:

Modern vehicle technology
Truck rescue
 Chain rescue
Car under Trailer
Car on barrier
Securing, lifting, stabilizing

💡🎓 For each station we offer you a detailed e-learning course for the theoretical basics including performance review and a subsequent certificate for participation as well as a video of at least 30 minutes in which our instructor team will explain the respective rescue technique step-by-step on the vehicle. Just like it would have been in Munich at the real rescueDAYS!

The course is available from October 16, 2020 and can be started at any time and repeated as often as desired.

Cancellation of rescue DAYS 2020 in Munich

The international rescueDAYS Munich 2020 from WEBER RESCUE SYSTEMS should have once again been a highlight on the fire-fighting scene. The 18th outing of this successful training event in technical rescue was scheduled to take place this year from 14 to 17 October on the test site of MAN Truck & Bus SE in Munich. The preparations for the rescueDAYS with the support of our partners MAN and the Munich fire service have been ongoing for several months.

Unfortunately, the COVID 19 pandemic also has an impact on a major event of this nature. Over the past few weeks, we have examined various scenarios and, together with our partners, we have followed the official recommendations. We have now come to the mutual conclusion that it is better for all parties involved to cancel the rescueDAYS 2020. This decision saddens us greatly, but we can see no alternative under the current circumstances.

The priority for us and our partners is the health and safety of the participants, employees and all other parties involved. Although the rules are gradually being relaxed at the moment, the situation remains unclear and the ongoing uncertainty unfortunately means it is impossible to organise a major international event.

We feel confident that we have made the right decision and we hope that all parties involved will understand. Any participants who have already purchased a ticket will naturally receive a full refund. We will be contacting these participants over the coming weeks and we kindly request your understanding in that refunds will take some time to process.

In order that the important matter of training does not entirely fall victim to the pandemic this year, we are currently working with our partners to devise alternative concepts. We will inform you of these in good time in advance.

Despite all the circumstances, we are happy to announce the date for rescueDAYS 2021 here and now:

The world's largest training event for technical rescue support will take place in Paderborn next year from October 21st to 24th.
